POKER TRAINER GAME RULES
Introduction
One of the most important decisions you make at the poker table is which starting hands to raise, call or fold
before the flop. David Sklansky's starting hand analysis is considered a standard guide in the poker world. The
hard part is remembering which hand belongs in which ranking group. Through an engaging and quick game, Aces
Royal Poker Trainer Beta helps you memorise Sklansky rankings.
Hand Ranking
How To Play
Your goal is to assign the correct ranking to each hand you see. All card combinations are classified in groups
of 1-8. According to Sklansky, Group 1 hands are the strongest, while Group 8 hands are only considered playable
in certain situations. Category “0” hands should typically be folded. For a better understanding, please view
the Hand Rankings tables and read At the Tables in our instructions menu. You have a choice of different
training modes each time you play: train with all cards, suited only, pairs only and face cards only. Have fun
and good luck!
At The Tables
Poker is highly situational. Different players use Sklansky rankings in different ways. It is also important to
vary your strategy within a session and over time in order to keep your opponents guessing. In general, the
higher a ranking, the more often you can successfully raise with it in earlier positions. For example, you will
find that Group 1 hands can certainly be raised from any position, while Group 3 hands should be raised from
late position more often than middle position. As you memorise the groupings, download Aces Royal Poker to your
mobile and try out different strategies to see how they suit you. Your bankroll will thank you!
